I just searched for the forums for "remove door" and after reading a few dozen threads, I didn't see anything that gives any details or links to details. Maybe I missed it?

Removing the doors looks fairly straight forward just from my preliminary examination, but anything that looks easy and straight forward usually isn't. Are there any hidden "gotchas" I need to know about?

Pretty easy. You only need undo the screws holding the hinges to the body. There are wires running through the rubber conduit for window power and speakers... that's the pesky part - getting those disconnected. Easy if you have the door panel off. Harder if you try to go through the speaker hole.

Definitely prop the door up when undoing those bolts or have a helper hold it up... it's awkward doing it solo with one hand on the door and one hand drying to unscrew the hinges.
