Default Why are there creases in my hood

It is the original hood and from what I can tell, it's just age and possibly a engineering snafu that has weak spots on the hood. I can see no signs of damage at all, it just looks like the kinks come from opening and shutting the hood over the years. I plan on a new hood in the spring as I plan on a new paint job. I just want to know if this will happen againg with a used hood or should I go with a later model then the original '84 hood or possibly a fiberglass or CF hood.

Peace

Martin

no one sells a good fg of cf hood for a street car at any decent price.

Any pics of what you are talking about?

Those creases near the latch mechanism are there on the hoods of most of our cars, they only show up more on a black car.
