Default volts/oil gauge's

ok fellas

Took the 44 out of the garage (after a years of no use) whilst in the garage, was on battery trickle charge.

After loosening up and an oil change all seems ok

For past few coup[le of drives the oil gauge was hitting 5, now (last drive in to work long motorway drive) she now only hits 5 on throttle, on idle she goes down to 2/3

The volts gauge, whilst not in the red (16) stays on the 15 mark

should I be concerned ?

thanks

That sounds fine to me. Typical idle pressure for these cars is 2 bar. You should be able to get near 4 bar by 2K rpms though.

My bat voltage is usually around 14, but my altenator is old and I have bad grounds so 15 is most likely normal. Change out your fluid in your transaxle as well. Most people never do that, and it would certainly help after the long sit.

Rubber usually hardens up after sitting so long as well, and being that it looks like yoube got an S2 Id be thinking about the timing belts especially if you are within 10K of having them due.

Adrian...have not seen you around here in a bit! Sounds perfectly normal compared to my S2...does the same thing! Glad you're back.
