I have a 951 Turbo S with M030 and a 968 with the standard suspension. Are the Turbo S sways larger than the standard 968? The plan is to upgrade the Turbo S with 968 M030 bars and, if there is an advantage, put the Turbo S sways on the 968.
Thanks,
Todd

Todd,
I don't have an answer to your question, but if you are interested in a nearly new 968 M030 rear bar send me a PM. Also have adjustable drop links to go with it. - SOLD

The Turbo S and regular 968 front bars are 26.8mm. Depending on when it was mfd, the Turbo S may have an 18mm or 16mm rear. Pretty sure that the 968 will have a 16mm rear.

The 968 stock had 26.8mm hollow front sways and a 16 mm adjustable rear. I recently upgraded my 968 to M030 bars (30mm front, 19mm rear) along with sturt brace, new castor blocks and lower control arm brace. Improvement is really quite amazing. Car is so much more stable and firmly planted thru turns, bends and corners; the typical 968 "softness" is gone. Car feels 10 yrs newer. Highly recommended. I've driven several turbo s (i also have an S2 cab); in my opinion, unless your tracking the 944, leave it alone (its great already withe the rest of the standard M030 package) and go straight to the 968. Regards, Paul

Yeah, 944 is for the track. It's costing so much for everything else, I'm just planning on using the 968 M030 sway bar upgrade for the time being, then after my wallet is a little more stable, going with something adjustable on the track car and throwing the M030 on the 968. I've been wanting to put those sways on the 968 for a while now, but since I've got the 951, the 968 is really just for cruising and a few backroad runs.
