Default Help with value of my NA?

Hey guys, Im thinking about letting my NA go for a few reasons. Im a freshmen at URI this year, and the parents are still controlling me by not letting me have the car here at school. Im REALLY low on $$ and dont see the need to have a car that I paid for sitting at home not being used, at this point Id rather have the money. If I do end up selling, Id like to get into another one sometime next year. If I do go through with selling what should I ask price-wise?

Here are some specifics

1987 NA, 168,000 miles, black partial leather, phonedials

Not many mods, but I just installed Weltmeister 250 front springs, throttle cam, clear front signals, and all red tails in August. Exterior is very good, no dings, just some chips up front. The interior is great also, just two tiny tears in the seam of the drivers side seat.

Sorry for not having more pics, I havent taken any since the stuff Ive done to the car. Heres the latest pic, as I got the car with the europlate I put on, none of the mods listed above are in the latest pic .

Any help is greatly appritiated, even advice on if I should sell or not.

Thanks!

I sold my NA for $3400 I think. It was an '85.1, had a perfect exterior, dirty-ish interior, Fuchs, and about 165k miles. Therefore I think you should easily get more than $4000 for yours. Maybe around $4500. But the most important thing in selling an NA is finding a person to buy it. These cars aren't exactly best sellers anymore. You have a nice car - good luck!

I'd keep the car... you said you plan on getting another one next year, and (for me, anyone) looking around and getting another decent car can be a hassle.

The next one might have a hidden, expensive problem... you at least know your car already.

Plus, it's a nice-looking car!
