Are the "OEM" motor mounts from Vertex the real deal?
Just wondering if anyone knows if the "OEM" motor mounts from Vertex Auto are the real deal like the Porsche mounts? They say they are "OEM" and "OE manufacturer" but it seems like there was some discussion about this on another thread that they are not always the fluid filled style of the originals when they say that. At $95 each, this is the best price I have seen so far if they are the proper style.

For the life of me, I can't remember,b ut I think those are the one's I got. If you search my user name and motor mounts you should find my thread where I asked the exact same question... might have been in someone elses thread. I got a brand new waterpump turbo updated style for 165 when everyone else wanted 250ish, so they do have real good prices. Their services is a bit of a pain sometimes though.

this just in...
I ordered OEM mounts from Vertex. Just got a call that they are 2 month back ordered from Porsche. He recommended the Mahle (hydraulic). $65/ea. Thought that was a pretty good deal. These are not the super cheap-o knockoffs. Any one use the Mahle mounts?

Rick, did you end up ordering the Mahle brand? Did he say anything else about them?

Could have been a sales pitch, but it will be worth the education if they suck. These are hydraulic, so that's at least one positive thing about them.
It's going to be near 50 next week. Hopefully I'll be able to get them installed before it gets too freakin' cold.
That's encouraging Andy. Thanks.
