Default WTB: Struts for 85.5+

I was getting my car aligned today(By the way for those of you who responded to my power rack question, the steering wheel lined right up!) and my mechanic told me that my struts are worn out, I know this isn't of dire importance to replace right away as my rear CV's are clicking.. but my half-shafts are on order as I speak. I was just testing the water on rennlist before I went out to order some commercially.
Does anyone have any new to barely used struts that I could buy?
Or would it be better to just order some from vertex.. can anyone outsource for me and tell me the best place to order from commercially?
I want to save as much as I can of course.

thanks,
-Boose

I think Vertex has the best price that I have seen. The price has really gone up on them recently because I ordered some from Vertex about two years ago for a turbo and they were about $150 but now the same ones are about $250 each.

I have a few sets of stock struts from an 86 turbo if you want something to just slap on there.. $50 for the pair

If it's a streeter, I used KYBs and they seem to work great! They weren't too expensive.

I have a set of 1986 Turbo shocks/struts/springs from a 35k mile car. $150 for the struts/springs, $50 for the shocks. If interested, PM me for a shipping quote.

You want to change the struts before you do an alignment. Whenever you change struts, your camber adjustments will be off.

Too late.. =P
Its ok, I will get over it, the alignment cost me $35.00 but thanks I just wish I'd seen that sooner..

I think ill live, because I replaced the power steering rack and needed an alignment. The struts are worn out but I think I can drive on them for a little while longer.. Hopefully a month or so. I daily drive this car so nothing hard-core.. what do you think?
