Default Anyone in or near Peoria? - may need car checked out (cross-post)

My girlfriend found an E36 M3 in Peoria and talking seriously about getting it. Anyone here close enough to give the car a preliminary check-out?

There are plenty of photos on-line and it looks quite clean, but of course there is nothing like someone to eyeball it up close and personal. Too easy to hide things or not have them show in photos. Basically she is only looking for someone to check on the obvious things to confirm the conditions shown in the photos. If it passes this test the next step will be a PPI and/or a trip up there to eyeball it herself.

Anyone know of a good place in or around Peoria for a good PPI?

Thanks for any help y'all can be.

Try Kauth and Meyer. They are the best independent shop for German cars in the area. There is also a BMW dealer in the area, I forgot the name.

I'm a couple of hours north but could make the trip if you're serious enough.

Michelle, you're awesome! I'll let you know.

Vivian has to contact the seller this week. I'm not sure, but things could get put on the back burner for a bit. She found out today that her father has melanoma, and to make matters worse, she lost her husband to melanoma 6 years ago. It was not the news she needed today. Don't know what this week will hold.

But, I know she was pretty serious about this though. She's looking for a Laguna Seca Blue E46 M3. This one is for her daughter to replace her E36 325is.
