I also found this seemingly contradictory statement:
However, no suspension part may be modified for the
purpose of adjustment unless such modification is specifically
authorized by the factory shop manual for non-competition pur-
poses.

Also, we can get better than -2.0 degrees camber at rest from all stock parts, without lowering, and we're entitled to the following: "front and rear suspension may be adjusted through their
designed range of adjustment by use of factory adjustment ar-
rangements or by taking advantage of inherent manufacturing
tolerances. This encompasses both alignment and ride height
parameters, if such adjustments are provided by the stock com-
ponents and specified by the factory as normal methods of adjust-
ment" but "Cars with swing axle suspension may be lowered sufficiently to achieve no more
than two degrees of negative camber at rest." So if it'll go farther than -2.0 when it isn't lowered...does that mean I can or can't still go that far when it is lowered?

Also found this, but I'm not using "aftermarket" strut housings, I'm using Porsche 944 strut housings and porsche 944 perches...
COIL SPRING PERCHES
The intent of the Stock Category allowance for alternate shock
absorbers is that the dimensional characteristics of the shock
absorber and spring location must remain consistent with those of
the original units, as per 13.5.F. In the case of coil spring perches
on aftermarket shocks, the vertical distance of the spring position
above the lower shock mounting point must be no less than the
distance found on the original equipment unit. If the characteristics
of the shock (e.g. gas pressure) are such that this positioning results
in a change in the car’s ride height, that change is permitted.

I'll keep an eye out for the lowered UPS truck.

Think you're going to get any insurance?

I think Ill be getting $100 if theyre lost... On the shipping form I had to declare the value, and only put $100... didnt think Id have to make a claim... I did tell UPS that they are worth a lot more than that... so well see.
