I don't know why this is as such. Is your hatch not this way Scott? When the hatch shuts, it squishes the rubber seal like when you shut a door. I haven't noticed any funny smells and there is no road noise when windows are up and sunroof is down. Who knows. I don't see many pictures of '91 S2's with their hatches open, which means we need more pictures of '91 S2's!

But I dunno. O yea, I also thought with these 285's that the car wouldn't spin in first...I thought wrong!
