I'm about to do the timing belt on my 88 924S. So i was poking around on paragon and found 3 different timing belt kits, i'm guessing mine is this one: http://www.paragon-products.com/product_p/944-l-br.htm

anyways i didn't see them selling any water pumps, so now i'm on 944online. is this the one i want? http://944online.com/cgi-bin/ASI_Sto...ingsystem-9442
i'm just confused because i know there is an update kit for the water pumps...

Pretty sure your '88 924S should have the updated waterpump already from the factory. I think it was a midyear '87 model thing. Best way to check is to pull off the top cover and take a look.

Paragon does sell waterpumps also, they are listed under cooling system.

I'm sure Paragon sells water pumps - just call them and ask. But I've also been quite happy with 944online too. That should be the right kit but again, both these places have knowledgeable people. I'd call.

thanks for the help, just ordered the parts required and once i get the core charge back for the WP, it will only have cost $300. not too bad IMO.
