Picked up a new Pcar...
But it's not a 944. Hope you guys understand
Sorry for the poor quality pics - working with an old camera. 86 930, 32k, all options (Sport Seats, full leather, LSD, etc). I'm the third owner and the car is an absolute dream. It's nice to be back in the game!

The bigger issue with the handling is the power delivery. It is very aggressive, even in bone-stock cars. Compared to a 951, the performance on boost is border-line violent, not progressive and easily controllable. Combine this "on or off" kind of performance with a significant rear weight bias and the car becomes quite a handful. It literally feels like a completely different car above 3K.
Ergo-wise, it's a 1960s sports car, and there's no getting around that - the entire 944 series is superior in that regard. The visibility is fantastic - and the performance is absolutely mind-boggling, given the fact that it's 21 years old (and the basic 930 design is over 30).
The fit and finish is quite a bit better on the 930, though - save possibly a few 968s I've seen.
