Default Sorry to bother again but i need some more help!

Let the car sit for 4 days, went to start the car this morning and it wouldn't start at all. It ran perfect when i parked it before thanksgiving weekend. i used a jumper for the fuel pump relay and the fuel pump works fine. I took one of the leads off the coil and put it against the intake and saw a spark when i turned it over, so theres gotta be spark, i've also played with the speed and reference sensors and there resistances seem to check out fine. my tach only works intermittantly so i can't cound on it to see if it jumps when it cranks over. i'm not sure what else to try Anybody have ideas out there for something that could go while the car is sitting?

Also this car leaks water like crazy when it rains so i thought it might have gotten on the DME but the DME isn't near any of the leaks. The battery box leaks and somewhere in the center around the heater core leaks.

The two things you need to produce a bang are fuel and spark. See if you have spark at the plugs. You can pop off one of the plug leads and plug a spare spark plug into it. Ground it on the engine and crank it over to see if it sparks. To see if you have fuel, go to Autozone or whatever is close to you and get a NOID light. These are LED's that illuminate if an injector signal is present. Unplug one of the injector connectors and plug in the light. It will glow if you have a signal. Next thing you need is fuel pressure. If you don't have a gauge, you can take off the cap on the front end of the fuel rail with a 19mm wrench and put a hose into a container and see if fuel squirts out when you crank it. You want to be careful here, having a fire extinguisher is a good idea! This should at least narrow down the problem.

ref/speed sensors like to fail after being parked... if you have a multimeter you can easily check those..

Short of pulling the fuel rail and spraying the injectors into a bucket, there is no other easy way to check for injector pulse. The tester is very cheap, did you check all the auto parts stores?

You can crank over the engine. If the injectors are firing, they will make a soft clicking noise. A stethoscope is handy here, but I rest a long screwdriver on the injector and put my ear up to the handle.

Well this is very wierd. I decided to spray a small amount of flammable liquid in the intake to verify it was a fuel problem. Well the engine fired right up, then i expecting it to stall but it didn't!!! it kept running, it's fine now runs good. Man oh man these cars don't like to sit. I'm guessing it had something to do with all the rain and moisture around.

Congratulations! Might have been a bit of moisture somewhere. The more you learn about these cars the better they seem to run. Next time you will have a better idea where to start.
