radiator bushing replacement: Tips

I just finished replacing the rotted old radiator bushings in my car (which I recommend doing, mine let loose and the radiator fell into the pullies, cutting a hose)
The bottom ones can be a pain, but I figured out a trick. Wrap some string or fine wire around the bushing "nipple". I used some twisty ties made for the garden. Thread the wire through the hole the bushing needs to seat in, and then pull on it while pushing the radiator out of the way. Pops right in!
As to the top ones, I have no clue what the trick is. I think I finally got them in there, but what a
