Default Fuba antenna installation.

finally got around to installing my Fuba antenna. The only real advice I can give you is to be VERY certain about where you want it. I'm sure most people don't screw up as much as I do, so learn from my mistakes!

The most difficult thing about this the trim piece on the a-pillar. For some reason, mine was thoroughly attached. I removed all the screws, surrounding liner, visor, visor clip, and door trim, but it just wouldn't come off. I managed to get the cable behind that trim anyway. The liner bulges out a little, but I'm the only one that noticed it. It was also a pain getting that foam piece back in.

I already had a lot of the headliner out at the rear as I need to replace a sunroof gear.

I'll add some pics of the car out of the garage once it's all back together.

I can finally pick up radio stations!

edit: Wanted to add another surgeon general warning. If you do remove the sun visor as well as other parts, be sure you keep the screws together. I made the mistake if screwing in a longer on and it poked through into the sunroof channel. F$#&!

enjoy.

Thanks. I'm going to be doing a Fuba antenna in the next couple of months. This will be a big help.
