Does anybody have the dimension of the Balljoint pinch bolt off hand?
I am away from the car and I would like to order a replacement before i reinstall the a-arms.

Hmmm...
Just from memory here. Any generic 8.8 bolt will do. They take a 17mm wrench, so that makes it a 10mm shank. Probably 40mm long, but you can always trim a longer one, eh?

If youre going to the trouble of ordering the bolt, get it from the dealer (M10x45mm, N 010 445 6). Its a gr 10.9 and and I have ordered many of these bolts thru porsche over the years, since these bolts should not be reused. Because of the pinching, they bend very slightly with the angle of the flats on the knuckle. A couple successive removal/replacements and retorques can cause the bolt to break. Had one of the Stone brothers at Kelly Moss warn me about this one, and after looking at removed bolts, typically they do have a slight bend in them.
Probably should get new lock nuts too. Also because of the pinch arrangement, the bolt/nut do not tighten down on solid metal to metal contact, its just squeezing the two knuckle tabs together - so there is some risk that the nut may loosen with time/vibration/mileage. Thats why the nut is a very tight lock nut and those types are usually specified as single use only.

I know paragon carries them, I have ordered them several times from Jason and the crew. I can't recall if they are listed on the site or not, but if not a call would take care of ordering them.
