If you have to park outside at least keep a dash shield on it with the windows cracked. I realize that So. Florida is hard on cars, my dad lives there, and always puts up a shade if he parks outside. It's the climate there that kills me. It always smells like a Continental Trailways bus and canned air wherever you go. A full car cover would pay for itself quickly.

The salt air isn't that bad, but the sun sucks! Tint your windows and put up a sunshield. Not much you can do about the paint other than take care of it with a good wax. I'm not a big fan of outdoor car covers, because I've seen too many cars get the paint ruined by them (sand, wind, and car covers don't mix well)
