1984 944, only 45k miles.
This is my first day, and my first post on rennlist. I have just recently purchased this 1984 944, would have gotton a turbo If i haden been seduced by the deal, only 45k miles is almost unheard of for the late model. I am currently putting alot of work into the car, hopefully making up for the fact that it's not a turbo. This is the second 944 I have owned, and I look foward to seeing you all at some events with this one. Any ideas on what kind of work I should do to it, feel free to let me know.

Any records come with the car? Thats a five digit odo... could've turned over, possibly more than once. That said, the things to worry about are the Timing belt/water pump/rollers...

The car was owned by an older man that only drove it once a month. You can tell by the parts that are still origional and still in good shape, that wouldn't be in the shape their in if the odometor rolled over. Carfax also came back clean.
