Cool Price Check on Cups

I am considering buying some Cup I's from a friend. They are in alright shape, 17X7.5 and 17X9. Im pretty sure they are the replica wheels. Is $500 a decent price? How much more would they be worth if they are genuine Porsche rims?

I paid $500 for 993 Cup wheels with perfect Toyos on them.
Real, not replicas too.

$500 for a set of REAL cup1's with PEFRECT tires is a STEAL. The tires alone are worth that. Real Cup1's in good condition are worth about $700-900, I'd say. $1000 for a mint, used set.

If you were to buy NEW MilleMiglia Cup1's, they cost between $800 and $1200 just for the wheels from most wheel/tire stores.

Wow what a steal!!! What are the big differences between the replicas and the OEM? Arent the OEM's lighter? Also I thought the original Cup I's only came in 16 inch sizes as well...

500 for a used set of knockoffs is an average price. They tend to be on the heavy side, The real cup 1s are much lighter. Cup1s and cup 2s only came in 17", the 16" ones your probibly thinking of are the ones on the 968.

Look at "Rich Sandor"s sig above, the red 944 has cup1s, the black 968 has cup2s. "Techno duck" has the 16" 968 wheels on his red N/A if you want to do a search.

Mine are Cup IIs... like the 968 in Rich's sig.
I got them off Ebay from a local Lister. He'd made a mistake in the listing saying there were 4 sets, not 1 set of 4. Another guy bid but ebay made a mistake and mailed me what the other guy bid.

The guy missed out on some change when he honored my initial bid.

I still think I made out OK with these wheels despite not being Cup 1.
