Question Leak from the header - question

Hi guys,

Recently my 951 has started making a typical header leak sound when i start it up. However, when I have run the car for a bit (like a few miles) the noise goes away - almost compleletly. I do not feel any loss in power or any other symptoms. My mechanic also told me that my motor mount (right) needs to be replaced.

Do you think its a cracked header or a some other issue? Like a lose header? because of the engine mount? Is that possible? What would you reccomend to fix - before I have a shop put in the labor to take eveything apart.

thanks!!

The mount can cause exhaust issues with cracking/flexing etc. As the pipe heats up and expands, the leak goes away, so what leak you do have is small, up to you to do anything about it. Wouldn't worry unless it gets worse I guess.
