I watched Chuck on TV and missed it entirely

A red 944 with phone dials in CA, shouldn't be too hard to track down

I've noticed a whole lot more 944's on the road recently too. Maybe they're finally coming back out of the woodwork.. By woodwork I mean people are finishing up their summer projects and getting their cars back on the road again.

Probably a riff on the 944 as seen in "Sixteen Candles"

LOL

its all those people who swore they'd have the car ready for summer, now its autumn and they're only just finished.

Back end of it looked kind of like a turbo -- but it's too blurry to say for sure.

Couple of my friends left me some voicemails asking what happened to my car because they "saw it" at one of the local auto shops -- apparently I'm not the only one with a red NA on campus, but they found that hard to believe.

I used to live next door to an "extra". She made a good living just being an extra in shows. No lines. Several times I went to see the shooting and they'd ask everyone standing around for cars for the background. My old 911t was in 2 movies and 1 tv show. Most of the cars shown are people working on the set.

Anyone remember 'Dallas'.?..... I think Lucy Ewing (Charlene Tilton) had a 944 at a stage.

There is a reality show called "The Garage" here on Discovery .

http://www.discoverychannel.co.uk/thegarage

Its set in Marbella , Spain and the Scots garage owner 'Jock' is an old school grump... Very funny. Jock just has no manners and the customer is never right......! They had an '87 Black Lux in the other night needing a clutch. The clutch fork was bent also.... Jock wanted to take the car outside and burn it......! Grumpy git.....! To add insult to injury the parts had to be shipped in from England leading to further fustration for Jock. It dosent show this on the website unfortunately....

On a tangent, I've found that while the 944 can be a let down when telling a girl you have a Porsche, but it's always plus that it's the car from Sixteen Candles!

I've had just the opposite -- might be because there are few girls in the area that know their cars... But anytime my girlfriend tells her friends what kind of car I drive, it doesn't matter that it's not a 100k supercar, they all congratulate her on the "good find" and suggest she marry me immediately.

Wait a minute, I think there's a problem with that....

Standing in line at the post office yesterday I saw a video on loop playing. Every know and then it showed a red 968 Cab driving, not sure what it was about.
