So I bought a used 1988 porsche 944 N/A. I has a MSD ignition on it that was hooked up. It has been un hooked, and I want to hook it back up, But I have no idea were to start, plus i just found out that the car has a proto type chip in it, something from a custom porsche shop out of NewYork. The guy I bought it from basically drove it like it was, then sold it to me, so he is no help in getting specifics on the MSd or the chip specs. Any ideas? By the way the car runs like a raped ape, slow off the start, guess the MSD is supossed to help with that?

 

I believe if you go to the msd webpage they have electrical diagrams on how to hook up each model

 

There was also a write-up in Paragon's tech articles, don't know if that site is still down.

I too have a question, Im about to buy a MSD digitial 6 plus for my 924S, How do you hook it up?? I was reading MSD's wiring diagrams but it seems they dont show a igniton like ours. ANy ideas??
