I just want to know if I have this spacer thing correct.
My 85.5 has a 23mm offset.
The BSA wheels are 48mm front and 40mm rear.
I need a 25mm spacer in the front and a 17mm spacer in the rear.
Is that correct?
Also What is better, slip on spacer with longer studs or the bolt on type?
Thanks,
-Dan

Firstly, those are some nice looking wheels at a great price! Those will look great on your car.
You are right on your spacer/adapter sizes, but I am not certain if there is such a thing as a 17mm spacer/adapter. It might be worth fitting the rears to the car first and checking to see if you actually have to have that size, or if you can get by with something a little smaller or larger (by measuring once mounted). Bolt on spacers (adapters) aren't commonly found in the smaller thickness range by their nature. More than likely on the rear you would need a slip on spacer and longer studs. You can get by with about 7mm of spacer before you really need longer studs for proper lugnut engagement (IMHO).

There is a guy/company on ebay that makes custom adapter/spacers for porsches and for any other cars. Here's the link http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...m=220145922334 Watch the video.
