Default FS: 1994 968 Guards Red, sport seats, $13,900

Well, the time has come, and I am selling my red 1994 coupe in order to buy another 968, a low mile cab. I thought I would never sell this car, and it really shows in the way I've maintained it.

The basics are that it's a guards red coupe with a cashmere interior. It is all original paint in wonderful shape with only the normal rock chips, and the interior is immaculate. There is a little wear on the drivers side boster of the sport seats, I have included a picture. No dash cracks, the carpet is in perfect shape, AC blows cold and the cruise control works.

Maintenance:

The oil has been changed every 2500 miles, along with putting in Techron every 2,500 miles.

I will list the service items below:

Bought the car in 10/2004- with 64,800 miles
Head freshened, 3 angle valve job, new variocam chain and pads, headgasket set
New trans fluid
New fuel filter
New cabin pollen filters
New ignition coil
Fuel injectors rebuilt at Marren fuel injection

1/2005
New power steering pump, fresh fluid

2/2005
New battery
Rebuilt starter from Sunset Porsche

5/2005 69,400 miles
New belts and rollers bought from Sunset Porsche

6/2006 78,000 miles
New magnacore wires
Control Arms Rebuilt by Dynamic European
New Castor Blocks
Replaced Oil Pan Gasket
New Motormounts from Sunset Porsche

2/2007 84,000 miles
Flush brake and clutch fluid
Replaced rear pads.

8/2007 88,000 miles
New plugs
Had the cams retimed to perfection
New valve cover gasket
Changed Trans fluid again
Changed Coolant with Zerex
Oil/filter change

Mods:
Autothority chip, sport seats, Promax rear wiper delete plug, and a custom exhaust.

I am a detailer by trade, so the paint and surfaces are in excellent to above excellent condition, it got a lot of comments at the Hershey Gathering this year.

The only problem is a small front seal leak, that I was planning on taking care of at the next belt change.

I just put in the stock shocks, struts, sways, front calipers and rotors/pads from the new 968 I just bought, all of these items have only 26k miles on them, I posted a photo below.

The tires have less than 2k miles on them, and the 16" rims are in great shape.

I can be reached at :

The car is located in Hopewell NJ, about 30 min North of Philadelphia

Sure-I just bought a 968 with 26k miles on it. I took the M030 struts, sport shocks, M030 swaybars and big reds off of the red car and put them in the new one. I took the struts, shocks, sways, calipers, pads and rotors off the 26k mile car and put them on the red one. I also swapped the wheels from the low mileage car to the red one. I hope that helps.....I have pics of the parts that I took off and on: First pic is the suspension/brakes/wheels from the yellow car that went onto the red one, and then the stuff I took off the red one that went onto the new yellow one.

Don't have the money to buy you're car, just excited to see someone in the 609 area code!

I'll be sure to look out for a yellow cabriolet!

Chaos,

I'll let you know when we have a get together! Are you going to the show at the Burlington Center Mall on Saturday?
