Richard, good luck with your car today...hope it's just the cooler seals.
As far as meeting time, I'm flexible and anything works for me on Saturday.
I never received you home address so I'm assuming that it's the start point of the directions....Mapquest says 136 miles to your house / 2 hr. 20 minutes from here.
I'll probably be meeting up with Fernando on the way to your house.

Why don't you guys come down to Myrtle Beach. We are going on a short drive Sunday the 21st --- have lunch a few adult beverages and then home.
You guys in Charlotte area think when you died you go to Myrtle Beach. LOL

If you can schedule that drive for another day I'd be interested. I can't do two long distance trips in one weekend though...

My software has the route at 93 miles and 2:50 minutes. Avg. speed just under 35 miles / hour.
Anybody interested in a friendly wager?
The wager will be "To the nearest MPH, what will be our average driving speed?"
Here are the suggested guidelines:
I'll clear my Garmin when we start the run and I'll keep the official speed. If anyone else has a GPS system we will take the average of the two.
This is average driving speed, not average trip time (trip time includes stops, i.e. lunch, pictures, pit stops for the ladies...) Getting stuck in traffic is part of driving speed.
Driving speed begins at the start and ends back at the start.
Your guess should be something like 30 - 31 MPH or 65 - 66 MPH. Closest to the correct speed w/o going over wins the pool. If everyone goes over, closest correct speed wins.
The wager is $5.00 and I'll wait to post my guess until we see if we have any takers.
BTW, I've left my Khumos on. Thought I might need then to even the playing field with the turbos.
