well i put the canadian tire brand full synthetic (heard it's made by shell?), it's called formula 1 full synthetic.

with the 5w50 synthetic I'm getting the same oil pressure as I did with the castrol gtx 20w50. when I start it up oil perssue goes to 4 bar, not sure if this is bad as I heard it should go to 5. when driving it goes to 4 bar again and at idle when it is hot it drops to 2 bar. however I noticed when hot at idle when teh car was parked for a few minutes the oil pressure went up to 2.5 bar at idle.

will see what the oil pressure is like at idle after driving on the freeway on my 40km trip to school on monday.

one question I'ld like answered, would synthetic even help with oil keeping oil pressure up when hot or would it not do anything.

I"m using castrol gtx 20w50 right now wich is thickest you can get but would 5w50 mobil one (also 50 weight when hot) help keep the oil pressure a bith higher?

No. viscosity is what can raise the pressure. If it is Xw50 it has the viscosity of a 50wt at 210 degrees.
