You had some rs door panels on a 944 last year. Was it an exact fit for the 944? I really like the look.

Pleas let me know- You have been so helpfu to me (don't know if you remember the speed/reference sensor nightmare you got me through).

He made those door panels himself using a set of spare panels he had and new vinyl, along with the pull handle hardware from an RS (at least the plastic surround for the red pull strap).

That's too bad. Maybe I can com across some later model panels at a decent price. I just really like the minimalist look. I do like a driver's armrest, however.

Yup, made them myself like Colin said. You can probably buy a good spare set of door panels off ebay, and buy the materials for under $100. It is slow work waiting for glue to dry, but not too difficult by any means.

If you do pick up door panels to do this job, you need to make sure the bottom edge of the panel is still in good solid shape. Water tends to get down there (I would guess through bad window seals in the rain), and soil the cardboard panel, which then turns...well....worthless.

It took me about a week to get use to not having the armrest there, now I don't even notice it isn't present.
