I assume it means 7" long , 2.5" diameter.. What I'd like to know is the spring rate and if other 944 guys have put these on .. bought as a front coilover kit off of rennlist a long time ago

thanks!
Mike

My hypercoils all have the spring rate engraved on the end (flat surface) of the spring itself. I assume you have probably already checked, but is there anything engraved on yours?

The last number would be the spring rate - 006 doesn't make sense. That sounds like an Eibach part #, as you have figured; any chance you've misread it? Or maybe it's a typo... I'm running 6.2.5.600's right now, 600#/in springs (on the racecar).

There are no other marks on the springs at all.. I know what you guys mean when the spring rate is etched onto the bottom / top of the spring.. these are painted all red (even top/bottom) and I can't figure it out.

I just double checked and I wrote the number as it is on the spring..

thanks guys
mike
