Default Can I get an approximate value on this car?

A guy I know is thinking of selling his 1987 944na that he personally purchased new off the showroom floor. It's a cherry...completely original/stock, 33k miles, nearly perfect. No dash cracks at all, even has the original radio. Only known problem is the AC doesn't blow cold. The maroon paint is in super nice condition, black interior shows very little wear.

Assuming no leaks and everything works (except known AC), can I get an approximate value on this car? I know it's tough without more information and pics, but a ballpark on where to start would be great. I'm thinking I could use an around-town kinda car.

If the maitenance is up to date, i would say as much as $5500. And from there subtract the cost of belts, clutch...etc.

6K, 7K If you are generous. 7.2k is KBB on a 33k mile 944 at exellent quality.
A 944na is a 944na. Average is around 5k for quality ones. They aren't collectable, nor are they hard to find.
Personally, low milage I would be conserned with Belts/WP, and lots of Seals that may have dried out.

I think these are conservative estimates... I would lean towards the high side but of course would be willing to pay as little as he wants for it ;-)

33k over 20 years could make for a lot of dry rot/electrical problems.

low miles is one thing but not being driven much, even once a week takes it's toll.

33k miles would probably is a better show car. The reason is with that few a miles I would not be surpised to see alot of mechnical work that is needed to make it run perfect. Still it could be done.

Value.. if the the paint is mint and the interior is mint.. $6000-$7000 depending on the buyer. It will have the most value for someone looking for an original show car.

Probably $7k if maintenance is up to date with receipts. You just have to find the right buyer.
