Hesitation on start when cold
#16
My 83' does this on cold mornings, I think its kind of fun. I can turn on the engine, put the car in gear and floor it, go about 10mph for a few seconds then the power kicks in and I'm thrown back in my seat, its like a pseudo turbo. It only does it for the first 10 seconds after a cold start and doesn't happen at all the rest of the day. I had always just figured the car has some sort of warm up cycle thats not done yet when I decide to pull out. It doesn't do it if I let the car sit for a minute or two before going.

I even re-tracked my AFM the other day just to make sure it wasn't hitting dead spot. What didn't fix this issue, but it sure did liven up the low end.....the track it was on was pretty hammered at about 1/3 of the way through after 176k miles.
