Default How do I disconnect the key in ign./door open buzzer?

Lost the PS wire (the one that connects to the door jam switch) in the fender somewhere and it makes contact somewhere in the PS front fender wall for a terrible intermittent buzzing. I checked my owner's manual for a fuse or relay, but no luck figuring it out. I haven't been able to fish that wire out. Thanks.

I had that problem and a 1/4 turn counter clockwise on the screw that holds that part that gets pushed in by the door disabled it.. may work for you ?

Its a relay. Open the hood and just pull the relay. Its the one closest to the windshield with little holes in the top for the speaker.

Rock, are you referring to an early car? All of my relays (except for the ones I installed and ones I know about) are under my dash. Thanks

For an early car, its the same relay just under the dash.

My 1984 Yeller car didnt have a warning buzzer relay. I just took it from my 86 and put it in after the 86 was parted out. Worked.
