Loud Whine when engine heats up
After replacing the vacuum lines and the venturi delete, my engine whines when it heats up to standard operating temp. It sounds like the noise is coming from the center of my engine, but it is so loud that it is hard to isolate.
thanks guys

Mine whines like that when I'm driving over 50mph and I have the fans on for the air conditioner. It'll stay like that until I either turn the fans off or slow down to like 10mph. It's weird though it doesn't do it every time.
BTW, My air conditioning doesn't work but I turn the fans on when I'm sitting traffic to keep the engine cooler.

A whine once it's up to operating temp and not before would make me think it is a fan issue.
Perhaps it is a failing waterpump also but it's odd that it's only when temp comes up

My S2 whines or groans a little too. It kind of sounds like a PS pump thats low on fluid, or maybe kinda like how the electric waterpump sounds on some 951s. I can only hear it faintly, and only when I'm on the throttle. The noise immediately goes away at idle.

IMO, it's the air spinning the fans faster than the motors are spinning the fans. Mine doesn't do it unless the fans were on prior going faster than 50mph. It's also spiratic, and goes away either when the fans are turned off or the car gets down to around 10mph.

no ac, new belts. it's coming from the middle of the engine, at the middle "nipple" where the big black hose connects to the intake. It happens when i let off of the throttle. if i give it a little bit of gas and hold the brake, it goes away. and it's loud as hell.
