I towed a 44 from MI to NC with a S10 blazer v-6 no issues, and yes i have had to lie about every 44 i have towed.

Im thinking that a tow dolly would be safer (less weight) but where do I get one besides uhaul?

Your Jeep should have no trouble. The Toyota Tacoma couldn't tow it because it's a girly man's truck!

the only problem i see here is the hatch or the sunroof flying up and then off because of the air lift on the wings...

I used my '02 Toyota Sequoia, and it was awesome. Where are you located? Mine is for sale now.

my hatch is known to pop open on its own so I will need to tie it down if I do that...
