Default You mean it runs?!?

"You mean it runs?!?" That would be the quote from all my neighbors about the 944. I haven't driven it farther than around the driveway since 8/14/06. Today is my last day of painting and it's off to the shop for suspension upgrades and alignment tomorrow.

As soon as I get it back I'll take it out for a scenic photo shoot/drive through the twistys and post some pics.

I hear that all the time, and my car has been running like a champ for the past 2 years.

So, I'm painting the hood for the third time. I finally get the color to just where its perfect and I trip over a cord and spill paint all over the hood, ruining what I just spent the last four hours painting. Anyway, it doesn't matter, I'll just quickly try to fix it and live with a f-ed up hood for a while.

I feel your pain. I once was finishing a hood and was chasing a "dry" spot when all of a sudden the gun cap seal started leaking right on the hood. Its a horrible-horrible feeling because its the most seen panel on the car and you can see flaws in it because of its angle the most.

Thanks LT1. I'll just leave it that way until next summer when I'll have more patience.

Yup, BTDT. I had a dragon fly land right on a wet hood once too and then to drag itself across a fender - not sure which one of us was more miserable....;] Bruce
