Automatic transmission for an 87 n/a??
I seem to recall someone here offering to sell an AT tranny out of a parted car, but I haven't been able to find it. I think I might be interested in buying it.

potent951turbo86 has an 87 with an automatic he is parting , not sure if he sold the trans yet.

Yep, I still have it sitting in the garage. It has 63k miles on it. Let me know if your interested.

You betcha. I hope I remember to record the noise it makes when the engine's running ... never did I hear such a racket!
Actually I think the torque converter's the problem, but I figure I may as well replace the whole shebang ... never can tell what kind of spin-off damage might have been caused.
