Default Automatic transmission for an 87 n/a??

I seem to recall someone here offering to sell an AT tranny out of a parted car, but I haven't been able to find it. I think I might be interested in buying it.

Li'l help?

You betcha. I hope I remember to record the noise it makes when the engine's running ... never did I hear such a racket!

Actually I think the torque converter's the problem, but I figure I may as well replace the whole shebang ... never can tell what kind of spin-off damage might have been caused.
