Default Need 1 maybe 2 engines for a good price

At the moment I'm car less.

My 951 should have been up and running along time ago but the engine I bought for it had a broken head stud (that I tried removing..unsuccessfully ) I'm having a professional come and fix it but he said with the broken extractor in there it may not happen... On top of that the bores in 2 and 3 are pretty scratched up. I really wish I got what I was hoping with that engine.

and just the other day my 944 started mixing alot of coolant into the oil. I replaced the oil cooler seals the oil cooler element itself and the head gasket. I start it up and check the oil afterwards and MILKSHAKE.. I'm worried it may be a cracked block

What do you guys have?

thanks
mike

Did you flush the coolant thoroughly before the restart?

Yes, I used a garden hose (water softener on) and flushed it till everything came out clean. I didn't have any oil in the coolant, it was the other way around..

I poured 3 quarts through the filler neck..cranked by hand a couple of times then drained the oil before I put the new filter/oil in. Then I ran the car (good oil pressure and no smoke) to temp and went to see how the oil looked. Looks like coffee with lots of milk. I don't know if I had enough of the remains of the contaminated oil still in the engine but the oil that came out looked pretty bad..
