Yes the tanks changed. I know the early cars have metal tank with a qt size pocket on the bottom of the tank. The track I was on had 1 g-loading right hand bend. However even at Willow springs which has moslty right turns I believe the cars run ok low on fuel. Seems like brainard may be an extreme example.
