Default Anyone have any experience with the Momo Pilota steering wheel?

I'm thinking of getting one, not sure if I want the Pilota II or I though. The II would be great because it would free up some leg space but the I would probably be better for making those sharper turns that require a few rotations of the wheel.

Anyone ever used one of these in an 83' 944? I'm looking for opinions on the look, feel, of it, etc.

Any pictures of one installed?

Don't take this wrong but it looks like a Ninja Star or something. IMO it's one step above this abomination that I sold even before the car was off the trailer.

At least mine had thruster control buttons

Hmm, wonder if there's a friendly Momo dealer around here that would let me test fit various steering wheels..

..and I agree, that wheel is butt ugly, then again, thats on a late dash and is multi colored.

Black on Black looks best, both come in it, just I couldn't find a Picture of the other one in the same color scheme. The Pilota One would fit best if anything, keep in mind, my cars interior doesn't have that silver metallic trim, its entirely black. This would be the first of a few interior changes, I'm considering a new steering wheel, a Momo shifter, an aluminum pedal set and possibly some race seats, all in black of course. I was considering switching out the gauges for some white faced ones but I like the 924 gauges that came with the car so I passed on that idea.

I have to say that with manual steering, you should definitely use a larger steering wheel. Not like the boat ones that come with the cars, but maybe a later 944 wheel? That's what Arash did with his 944 before he sold it.

As for me, I have about ten different wheels. Which one do I use? The one with the largest diameter of course. My shoulders and biceps thanks me at night.

In your case I'll make an exception... you wear metallic silver gloves to match the wheel and have pointed ears like Spock so it's all part of the look.
