You don't say what year you have. I needed to reset the factory alarm - arm it and disarm - before the fuel pump would run after a major engine rebuild.

I can't really hear the fuel pump running but I could never really hear it running lol. on my old 924 the fuel pump was really loud and I could hear it buzzing and running when I turned the key.

ok cranked it and tachometer does not bounce so I guess I'm one step closer lol.

so is my reference sensor or speed sensor busted? it's pretty damn tight in there I can barely see them.

just a loose connection going to the ref sensor, fired right up and looks like no oil leaks......

lol I'm no troubleshooter. without having someone tell me to check the tachometer and ref sensor connections I'd be lost.

thanks for the help, now I just have to wait for my new control arm to come in and get that tie rod end off and then take it to the allignment shop.

also not sure if I should get my timing belt tension checked, I just used the 90 degree method and used the kricket and got around 40 pound so when turned back 1.5 teeth and I think it should be fine, I used to be all paranoid but I really doubt the timing belt will just break because the tension is off by a bit.
