Hi all, I'm fairly new here, and I thought I'd share some photos of my recently purchased '87 944. I bought this car from another Rennlister in great shape with a number of upgrades (Momo steering wheel, Paragon throttle cam) and my son and I have begun to do some work to it. We're really enjoying the experience! So far we've added an F.R. Wilk 2007 Lamba Series PowerPROM, 17" Porsche rims and Toyo Proxes tires (7" wide in front, 8.5" in the rear), rocker stripes, painted calipers and caliper decals, and I've ordered a new hood liner from the 928 Leather Shop. I've already been "initiated" into the world of older sports car ownership since I had to reattach my driveaxle and replace the speedo sensor. No major damage, though, and while fixing it I found the true value of sites like Rennlist, Clark's Garage, and the Pelican message board. Thanks for checking out the photos!
Later,
JV

Thanks guys, I'm keeping the phone dials around in case I want to go for the classic look, but I wanted to go for a more updated appearance. These are from a Boxster, and they bolted right on with no spacers needed. The Boxster owner upgraded to 18"s, and I was able to get these for a reasonable price with good tread remaining on the tires. The 8.5" wide rear tires fill out those rear flares nicely!

Thanks for the welcome everyone, here are some interior and engine shots. The fuzzy dice are a bit of a tradition for my son and me, so even though they're not very "European", we've gotta keep 'em. The (WalMart) cupholder/CD tray fits like it was designed for that spot in back of the seats. It doesn't tip or slide at all because the seat backs hold it in place perfectly. The Blaupunkt audio system was installed by the previous owner, and he also replaced the windshield and added a small roof antenna. I put down those cheap floor mats to protect the carpets which were all replaced by the previous owner. I think I inherited a clean machine (Thanks, Steve!). I just finished polishing the cam tower and highlighted it with flat black. The new hood liner will be added next.
