Default Design 90's w/ new Tires...(For Sale - RV)

I have a set of As New Design 90's in 7" & 8" x 16" sizes (52mm ET), that are mounted with brand new (and I do mean BRAND New!) Fuzion HRi's in 205 & 225/50 sizes. (see Tire Rack Reviews on the Fuzion HRi's; great tires!!!)

The Design 90's come with the top of the line, new Porsche Cloisonne Crest Center Caps, which are, at last check, running just under $200.00 the set of four.

These are not the cheap painted Center Caps with the cheesy holes in them, but the high end enameled Caps...

NO curb rash, scratches or dings to the wheels.

These are direct bolt-on's for the Late (87 and up) 944/951/944S2/968 cars, and the later 928's, or can be used with adapters for the early cars or 911's.

IIRC, these also fit the 964's directly??? And the Design 90's were one of the lightest wheels Porsche ever used on their cars.

$800.00 (plus any shipping) for the set. Will not dismount tires or break up the set... Photos for serious buyers only...

Is this true that the Design 90's were that light? Compared to the Fuchs or Twists or Cups or Phone Dials? Anyone have any measurements to confirm this as such?

17.5 lbs for the 7 x 16's and 19 lbs for the 8 x 16's...
Fuchs; about the same... rest were supposedly heavier, but I have never weighed them...

Default Photos...

A decent fellow asked for photos so I dug these out of storage and snapped a few...

They are actually nicer than I remembered...

Advertise on VWVortex as well... the V-Dub crowd likes these and the 7-slot sewer lid wheels.

Does anybody really give a Fuch what they weigh? ;>))

Just want 'em for the "Originality" or "Bling Factor" or some other odd reason!

I will try them on Samba and VWVortex... Great idea! Thanks!!!

Or, I'll just buy a 928 to stick them on!!!

PS: I have a beautiful set of Adapters for the front and rear of "early" offset Porsches (911, 944,951) that will fill in the 1.5" space at the rear and the 1" space at the front, and set these wheels out just right to correctly fill the fenders!

If you need the Adapters, buy the wheels and the Adapters will be included... Just tell me what you want to put these on....

Post these on the For Sale forum. Some 928 guys might want them.
