Default Slave Cylinder Rebuild: Seal Changing

Hey quick question, how in god's name do you change the seal and metal band on this thing? It is so tight and not very elastic so I am fearful of breaking the larger o-ring, oh wait, I already broke it! lol. basically is it possible to get this thing on or should I just get a new one. maybe I had the wrong kit, there is only one kit for the 944 and turbo right, they are the same cylinder I think?

thanks.

Seems like it was a tight fit when I did mine. I had to be careful with it but I never felt like I was going to tear it. Also if I remember correctly the seals could be put on from either end and rolled into the groove. Do you have a picture of what you have done so far?
