Default oil temp sender connection question

so i bought a 1/8" VDO oil temp sender and plan on tapping it into the drain plug. i was just wondering what kind of wire connection connects the wire to the sender. it is a spade terminal sender but i do not see how a spade connector connects to it. should i have bought a different one? 323-057 is the one i got.

Lol...not very intuitive until you've seen it. I usually put a piece of shrink tubing over the protruding section of the sender and the first couple inches of wire. It make me feel better about it not just falling right off.

It is kind of funny once you fig. it out, I'm trying to decide if I want to run the sender at the plug myself, I'm not certian I want this in the bottom of the pan.
