Default Evil Control Arm Bolt

One of the bolts for the rear bushing on the front controll arm won't stay on. Is it possible that what it's screwing into is stripped? If so, what can I do?

So, it looks like it (not the bolt, but where it goes) is stripped, but just for the first few threads. I took the bolt off the controll arm and it will screw right in. When it is on the control arm, the bolt can't go in because it can't reach the non-stripped threads. Is there any way to fix the part that is stripped, or would it be possible/safe to use a longer bolt with more washers?
