Default AC does not turn on

Did a search and couldn’t find anything.

I have an 83 944

When I turn the AC **** nothing happens. I do not hear any relay or anything turn on. I pulled the switch and tested it, its fine. I pulled the AC relay, its fine. Does anyone know what I should check next? I have a wiring diagram but if there are common problems I would like to test those before I go tearing up my whole dash to get to the components.

Thanks

Does the air blow out the dash, or does thwe compressor not come on. if the air does not blow, then it's fuse, relays, wiring, blower motor, switches. If air blows and compressor doesnt engage, its wiring, bad clutch, switches, fuses, relays, low coolent pressure in the system.

Checked the refrigerant level, like Funn944 suggested? There is a low-pressure cut-off switch that will prevent the AC clutch from engaging if the refrigerant is low.

The blower does not come on. All the fuses are good too. Where is the low pressure cut off switch located?

I should mention that the normal blower works fine, for the heating and outside air.
