Non-LSD tranny seems to blow up more easily. Also turbo and S2 trannies are known to have been made stronger.

Does anyone know why 924S tranny's are cheaper then 944 tranny's. Its weird.

I would usually charge MORE for a 924s trans. It has a lower final drive ratio and will be quicker than any other 944 trans.

What prices are you seeing available for 924S transmissions?

no speedometer sensor on the transmission I believe. It has the instrumentation of the 1983-1985/1 944.
