Default Lemming aka Tim Nagy

Please contact me. I'm a new member here also in the Birmingham area. I'm in the market for a 968 and would love to get your input as well as chat you up on the local scene. I met Tom E. at my old job and he seemed real cool. He told me he'd send some clean 968's my way but I never saw any!!

If you could pm me or post up I'll give you my contact info. This forum is massive and not the most intuitive. I'm in the alabaster/montevallo area so maybe we can meet up on the weekends and chat.

I just sold my modified mazdaspeed6 and have an audi beater that I'm not real content with. I need something to satisfy my needs!

Thanks,
Matty

Hey Tim, I think I passed by you a few weeks ago on Colonnade pkwy. Not too many white 968's here. I was in a white S2 cab and pointed at you to my GF explaining how nice your car was. I traded my wrecked 88S to R.L. Mitchell for that slightly prepped S2 engine he had.

I think that would be cool. There are quite few people in the Ham. There's me , Keith, Sean, R.L., Joe, Bryan and a few more that I recall.

It is time for a drive through the twisties for sure. I have heard that 25 from Harpersville to Calera is a good one. Anyone familiar with that one?

Tim, are you Porscheless or did you get the 968 belts re-done yet? Let me know if you need "the tool". I missed that ride on Saturday. Leaking tranny!? It is always something.

25 from GrantsMill out to 29Dreams is a nice road but has alot of motorcycles. Tim knows this all too well as that he lives close to this road. But I'm game for any type of drive. Lest get something setup!!

Ds - that may have been me as I live in Inverness. Having said that, there is another white 968 cab around, the only difference that I've noticed is that she has 16" cups and I have 17.

Keith - belt went on this weekend and the car is running. I am about to replace the vacuum hoses on that car and bleed the brakes and clutch, other than that, she is ready.

A get together sounds great. Quite a few of the 944 guys (Joe, RL) will be at the SCCA races at Barber this weekend. I was going to go and help but I lost my 951 tranny in the trackcar I now have a replacement 944S2 tranny that needs to be put in but before I can I need to remove the LSD from the 951 and put it into the S2. That's what I'm doing next weekend

Shep - I sold the house on Sicard Hollow Road last Tuesday Currently living in Inverness.

It was probably you Tim, that I saw since it was a coupe and a guy was driving. I live off Acton and take that road to work on 280 everyday.

I don't see where I can check my PM's here.

I'm in the process of buying my first 968 and I've made a counter offer to the seller. If he accepts it I should have it here within a week or two. It's a 94 cab, red. Should have just the right amount of "arrest me red" in the paint.

I'm also in the alabaster area. I can't recall seeing any porsches near here except for one several years ago near the library....although I thought it was gold or white.

If you have a cruise/meet real soon I'll try to make it out but will have to be in a Mazdaspeed6 as my beater surely won't keep up!

Upper right hand corner of your screen, under private messages. Check it, I might be willing to part with my 95 coupe.

Apparently my account wasn't activated when you sent the first pm as it didn't come through. I see now where the PM link is and I have 0.

Ther are a few 944's in Alabaster. Robert has a white 944 with a ls1 conversion and I have seen a blue cab lately.
