Default Poll: Spring rates w/torsion bar delete (bonus track pics enclosed)

For those using coilovers (without torsion bars), what spring rates are you using front/rear? Please specify your car's weight (wet, w/ driver).

I need to bump up my rear spring rate but I'm not yet sure how far to go. I am curious what others are using and how the car feels.

Here's some pics from today and yesterday at Watkins Glen as eye candy. Seven hours of open track each day, no run groups, open passing...I'm exhausted. Got a personal best lap time, on brand new full tread RA1's no less...go figure? They felt a lot better out of the box than past sets I've used.

Anyway, responses about spring rates would be greatly appreciated.

Front: 550
Rear: 750
Weight with driver: 2700 lbs.
Bilstein Escort Cups/Tarrett Sways/all sphericals. Jason at Paragon advised a 100 - 150# differential between front and rear.

Good thread there Skip, thanks! Some of those posts confirmed my suspicion that I need to bump my rear spring rates up quite substantially. I'm currently at 575#F/525#R, and pushing like a pig. Some people following me today and yesterday said my front slip angles looked crazy extreme.

Does anyone know the extended/compressed lengths of the 944 rear shock?

The owner said it was a JP1 Jaguar, with a Cosworth V8 engine, 277hp and 1500 pounds. He gave rides all day to people, unfortunately I get motion sick as a passenger so didn't go out. Was running laps right around two minutes flat!

Cool story. He just had the car shipped from England, where a friend had given it to him for commission after buying $1.5 million worth of cars from Brazil.

From my old 1985.5 na, the stock shocks are 13.5"-16.5" fully compressed to fully extended. Measured from the centers of the bushings.
