oil pressure was just fine no problem. it did alls eem to go in fine and I tqed it to 155 ft-lbs.
pics are coming sooon.
I'm taking apart everything soon as there is an oil leak also and looks like the lower balance shaft seal is leaking and leaking oil down from behind the timing cover.

these pics were taken after I pushed the timing belt back on the camshaft gear a bit, before it was over about 1mm on the camshaft gear.
and here is the oil leak behind the timing cover none getting on the timing belt or anything. all oil seals were replaced last summer.

I also just saw that there is a stamp on my water pump casting that says "2.5L" so it must be made for the 2.5 l motor.
so maybe something else is causing the belt to creep over the camshaft gear but I can't think of anything or maybe the aftermarket Laso pumps are bad and the lip on the pulley is too far.

Shoot I thought the belt was hanging over the cam, that doesn't look bad. If you don't have any fraying of the belt or rubbing anywhere I wouldn't worry about it. Is the belt rubbing the back belt cover, if no leave it alone it's fine. No rubbing, no chaffing, tensioned correctly, leave it alone.
Although to fix that oil leak you might need to change the "o" ring on the camshaft pulley cover or the lower balance shaft bracket.

like i said the belt was about 1mm or so over the camshaft gear but I pushed it back on a bit.
it wasn't by that much over the gear but still a mm or 2 over the gear makes me nervous and doesn't seem right.
but no it doesn't look like anything is rubbing.
to find the leak I will have to remove all belts and rollers/ gears to get the rear cover off.
I have put flourescent dye in my oil and ran the engien for 20 minutes before this and I saw teh oil dripping from behind the timing belt cover and when I remove the cover I will shine the black light behind the cover area and hopefully trace teh leak to the soruce and try and fix it.
I'll try and fix the leak first and put it back together and if the belt still goes over by a mm or so I'll have my porsche shop look at it and hopefully it's not something too expensive to correct.

I kind of wish I left the rear and front covers off then it would be much easier to fix a seal leak don't need to remove the belts and remove everything just to get the cover off......
but my car doesn't have the under engine shield so I'd get rocks and dirt flying onto my belts.
