Get your alignment checked before even looking elsewhere for problems. And make sure all of the bushings look good.

I've been autocrossing for a little more than a year. I've done four events with the 944 and one with my 325Ci. With the 944 I placed 7 (tir), 5 (tir), 4(es, a super regional with no tir class), and 4 (tir).

I know I still have a lot to learn, but everyone who has ridden with me was a) surprised by the handling of the car and b) impressed by the huge saves.

Huge saves only happen following huge screw ups.

I'd get the rear toe checked...you might have some massive toe in or out on one of the wheels. Does it manifest itself more depending on the direction of the turn (right or left)...or type (decreasing or increasing radius turn)?

You usually want a little toe in (very small though) in the rears and slight toe out in the front (gets you that little bit better bite in the fronts).
